Monthly Classroom Stationery

Encourage independent writing with “Monthly Classroom Stationery.” Beginning writers are excited to practice their newfound writing talents and they often crave varied writing opportunities. Writing to each other is motivating and fun! All students experience success and this writing venue serves all developmental abilities. Participation can represent all levels of the writing evolution…illustrating, beginning/ending letter sounds, dictating, copying, labeling and independent writing.

The stationery is a perfect way to manage your writing center. The set contains twelve over-sized, colored stamps for classroom display and corresponding blackline masters. The masters allow for two stationery formats…a fold-over version and a postcard version. By changing the stamp monthly and alternating the stationery format the writing center maintains a “fresh” appeal each month.

Students can write to one another and to their teacher. If “reciprocation” becomes the understood rule an on-going exchange of motivational mail develops. It’s truly as academic as you choose to make it.
